Samuel (from the Tribe of Ruvain) was the great prophet (it
is said that he had both the soul of Moses
and Aaron HaCohain) who anointed both King Saul (the first king of Israel, from
the Tribe of Benyamin)
and King David (from the Tribe of Yehuda) through whom comes the eternal Messianic
royal line.
