New Gate #1
Archaeological ruins from the First and Second Temple periods. The upper left is the southern wall exterior of the Temple Mount. This recovery merely scratches the surface. Approximately 150 meters to my back and left is the Dung Gate.
The Temple Mount is slightly to the northwest of where I am standing on the Mount of Olives (HarHaZetim). The left exterior wall and ruins can be seen in the previous photo. On the extreme right of the exterior wall is the Gate of Mercy (ShaarHaRachamim).
(cont'd on next photo)

The same as the previous photo - wider view - ShaarHaRachamim is a double-arched gate on the exterior of the Temple Mount. This is the gate that the Moshiach (Messiah) will enter upon his arrival at this most Holy and Precious Site. Negative, dark spiritual forces have temporarily bricked up the Gate.
