Bircas Cohanim
Bircas Cohanim = the blessing of the Cohanim (Jewish
priests - the direct male genealogical descendants of Aaron the priest, the brother
of Moses). Occurs twice per year, once during the Passover festival and once
during the Sukkot festival, the Cohanim from all over the land of Israel and
many parts of the world gather at the Western Wall which is known as the Kotel
and bless all the Jewish people and the population of the world that acknowledges
G-d Almighty's divine sovereignty and His laws.
